I am a diabetic and a chai lover. I was frustrated that every chai on the market was full of sugar or if it was sugar-free, tasted terrible. So, I started experimenting in my kitchen. I was looking to make the perfect cup of chai that I could drink whenever I wanted, not just twice a year or on special occasions.
Through failed attempts and lots of research I came up with the original recipe. I started sharing it with my friends who encouraged me to share it with our community.
In the fall of 2023, I started Garden City Chai. I started small, first at holiday markets and farmers markets. I am steadily growing by getting to know my community and their needs. You, as my community, have taught me so much and I keep learning from you fostering connections, sharing joyful and nurturing experiences over each cup. My commitment to innovation allows me to keep my sights open to new chai experiences that I can share with you. I appreciate all of my super fans out there who keep coming back cup after cup. I would love for everyone to experience their perfect cup of chai WITHOUT the guilt.
